Good morning everyone,

Thank you for reading my newest blog! I'm excited to get started.

I’m from Harrogate and passionate about all things exercise. I am a keen gym-goer and runner, with a history of playing many sports including football, rugby, golf and volleyball.

I have had the fortune of meeting and working with lots of you for rehabilitation and recovery already, and look forward to supporting more people on their journey to better mobility and performance.

My approach to physiotherapy is holistic, focusing on not just treating symptoms but addressing the root causes of injuries or discomfort. I believe in combining individualised exercise programs, patient education and hands on techniques to help people take charge of their health and well-being.

My aim is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all of our clients. Whether you’re dealing with a recent injury, looking to enhance athletic performance, or simply want to move pain-free in your daily life, I am here to help.

Here are some examples of people I have worked with:

Currently, I am working with one of my clients to get him back to playing cricket this season; he came to me following a Lisfranc fracture which was treated with an internal fixation surgery.

There was remaining swelling, he was unable to fully weight bear through his foot, and obviously ankle strength and mobility were largely reduced.

We have worked together to:

  • eliminate any remaining swelling,

  • regain full range of motion at the ankle and throughout the foot, and

  • now we are rebuilding single leg strength

  • and power.

Also, I am supporting an individual who has experienced 20 years of chronic lower back pain, who has a specific goal of travelling the world with his wife. By building a personalised rehabilitation plan, including specific exercises, hands-on techniques and educational advice, I have helped to reduce stiffness and discomfort, increase strength and exercise tolerance, and regain mobility. We have been able to enhance function to allow for a more active and fulfilling life.

I have also helped body builders return to shoulder pressing following a shoulder injuries, keen runners get rid of pesky niggles, and people recovering from total joint replacements get back walking around the beautiful Fountains Abbey.

If you are in pain, get in touch today.
